Manchester United are considering moves for Christian Eriksen and reported Tottenham target Youri Tielemans amid suggestions Paul Pogba could leave for Real Madrid, according to the London Evening Standard.
Both Pogba and Eriksen have been heavily linked with Real Madrid, with both players dropping hints they are ready to leave United and Spurs this summer.
But with Madrid already having spent big money on Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard, there is a possibility they will only have enough left for either Pogba or Eriksen – not both.
The Evening Standard claims Pogba is eager to leave United, and Eriksen recently stated his desire to seek a new challenge if the likes of Real Madrid are interested in him.
If Madrid end up signing Pogba, the Standard believes United will target Eriksen as a replacement. They are also said to be keen on Leicester City loanee Youri Tielemans, who is apparently a Tottenham target.
That means United could rid Spurs of one of their best players as well as one of their chief transfer targets this summer, although the Londoners probably won’t be keen on doing business with the Red Devils if they win the race to sign Tielemans.
