Tottenham Hotspur will prioritise moves for Ryan Sessegnon and Jack Clarke once they have completed the signing of Tangy Ndombele, according to the Sun.
On Thursday, we relayed reports suggesting Spurs’ first bid for Ndombele has been rejected by Lyon but talks are ongoing over a potential transfer.
The Sun claims if and when that deal is completed, Tottenham will then turn their attentions to signing two teenagers from the Championship: Sessegnon and Clarke.
Earlier this month, reports revealed Fulham starlet Sessegnon would prefer a move to Spurs ahead of Manchester United amid interest from both clubs.
And last month, the rumour mill purported Leeds United will demand £20 million from Tottenham for 18-year-old Clarke after an initial offer was turned down by the Yorkshire club.
It looks like Spurs have plenty of plates spinning in the current transfer window, meaning we could soon see the club announce its first signing since the arrival of Lucas Moura from PSG in January 2018.
Clarke and Sessegnon would certainly be useful additions for the future, but Tottenham fans will be hoping to see a player of Ndombele’s ilk arrive to strengthen the midfield.
