Tottenham Hotspur remain confident of signing Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon but are yet to agree a fee their London rivals, according to the Daily Mail.

Sessegnon has been linked with Spurs for over a year and will find himself out of contract at the the end of next season.

Usually that would mean he’d be available on the cheap this summer, but Fulham are apparently holding out for a huge fee.

The Mail claims Fulham want £45 million for their teenage sensation, while Tottenham feel he is worth closer to £25 million.

It is believed the Cottagers have offered Sessegnon a contract extension but the 19-year-old has no intention of signing it amid interest from Spurs and Borussia Dortmund.

And Tottenham are said to be confident of getting a deal done in the current transfer window.

It it becomes a reality, Sessegnon could become the club’s third summer signing after the imminent arrivals of Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and Leeds United teenager Jack Clarke.

Spurs are yet to confirm either deal but both are thought to be close.

  1. Spurs need to play hardball on this one. Nothing over 25 million for Sessegnon, especially with just one year left on his contract. Otherwise we can pick him up for free in a year. Surely not an option Fulham will want to contemplate.

  2. Given Toby can go for £25mill under similar circumstances, any more than that for Sessegnon seems very expensive

  3. We need a tough defence this year 2 x full back`s , 1 x centre back at least , 1 x defending midfield`r , 1 x attacking midfield`r , 1 x left winger , 1 x attacking centre forward , get on with it no lingering stop letting other`s steal the best come on Levy I know you have done wonder`s with the stadium jumping the river to land in the middle is no use we must land on the dry side .

  4. Johnny duckett you weirdo just say a whole team is needed rather than write all that…!!! or do you wanna mention we need a couple of subs aswell, one for the left side of the bench one for the right..??? What a weirdo…dont forget the orange man tooooo????!!!

  5. Don’t want him. Cant defend, doesn’t like playing left back and drifts in and out of games too easily. Had enough of that sort. Have to get Tierney. Young , tough , Scot who CAN defend and is dangerous at the other end. AND stops Woolwich Rovers getting a good player.
