Arsenal are considering a move for Hull City forward and reported Tottenham target Jarrod Bowen, according to the Sun.
Spurs were heavily linked with Bowen back in January when it was believed the club had sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old in action.
In March, reports claimed Bowen’s name was on Mauricio Pochettino’s list of summer targets.
But there has been little talk about Tottenham’s interest in the striker, who can also play out wide, during the current transfer window.
And now, the Sun claims Arsenal are preparing a £12 million bid to lure Bowen away from Hull in the coming weeks.
Tottenham have been a bit busy with other targets, announcing deals for Jack Clarke and Tanguy Ndombele on Tuesday.
Ndombele joins for a record fee from Lyon, while Clarke has returned to Leeds United on loan for the 2019/20 campaign.
With Fernando Llorente seemingly on his way out following the expiration of his contract, Spurs will need a new forward to provide back-up for Harry Kane.
But if Arsenal get their way, it appears Tottenham will miss out on Bowen.
