Tottenham Hotspur value Danny Rose at £20 million amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain, according to Sky Sports.

Rose has not travelled on the club’s pre-season tour of Asia, with Spurs confirming the defender has stayed at home to explore the possibility of a transfer.

Sky Sports claims PSG are at the front of the queue to sign Rose. Bundesliga side Schalke are also said to be keen, while there is rumoured interest from other unnamed clubs.

The report suggests Tottenham want £20 million for Rose, who joined the Londoners from Leeds United 12 years ago.

Rose became a key player under Mauricio Pochettino but has been linked with an exit since controversially criticising the club’s transfer policy and ambition in the summer of 2017.

Spurs have already sold one senior full-back this summer with Kieran Trippier moving to Atletico Madrid in a £20 million deal.

They are apparently interested in signing Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon to provide competition for Ben Davies, who signed a new contract earlier this month.

A formal offer from PSG should get the ball rolling for Rose, although it’s unclear whether the Ligue 1 champions have contacted Tottenham yet.

  1. Rose is worth 30 to 40m I would say, even at 29 hes a champions league final grade left back and he’s been re approaching his best form this season. He reads the game well, hes pacy, hes energetic and his final third work is top drawer. I think only his final cross, shot wasn’t as good as a few seasons ago last year but still one of the best around.

  2. I hink that Danny wants to move on; but 20 M is very low for his contract. Still Trippier (who outclassed Walker at both Spurs and England) is rumoured to have left for 20M so that might influence the Rose price point.

  3. It`s wrong to say he wants to leave when there are reports he wants to fight for his place in the squad. I think this is Levy wanting to sell Rose and get some money before it turns into a Alderweireld situation. It`s disgraceful given his service to our club to unceremoniously shipped through the back door. The man deserves better.

  4. Danny, Danny Rooose; Danny, Danny Roose.

Levy has treated you shamefully. Never even offered you medical assistance when you were experiencing mental issues. Now this; to cope with as well. Has Levy thought of the impact may have on you?

Levy, give the guy a long service testimonial; so he can feel that he was appreciated. Easily one of our top four performers since Pochettino’s tenure.

Best of luck, Dan The Man.

Danny, Danny Rooose; Danny, Danny Roose!!
