Spurs legend Clive Allen has advised Gareth Bale to return to Premier League – rather than go and play his football in China.
Bale’s future at Real Madrid is in serious doubt after Zinedine Zidane revealed that the club are looking to move on Wales’ all-time top goalscorer after leaving him out of their squad for their 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in the International Champions Cup on Saturday evening, despite Bale being with the team in Houston.
And Allen, who played a part in bringing Bale to Tottenham in 2007 has urged the winger to end his nightmare at the Bernabeu and make an extraordinary move back to England.
Bale scored 55 goals in 203 appearances for Spurs, but his £300,000 per-week wages would prove to be a stumbling block the Lilywhites, whereas he has reportedly been offered a remarkable £1million-per-week to become the first Welshman to play in the Chinese Super League.
“So much has been made public about the fall out with Zidane. I think Real Madrid have handled in very poorly. I don’t think he should be going to China.
“I think there are so many possible suitors in European football and even Premier League football – I’d love to see him come back to the Premier League.
“I sat down with him and his family when he came to Spurs many years ago, and I said Spurs was the platform for him to go on and do anything he wanted, to fulfil his dreams. He bought into that and he came to Spurs.
“I’d say the exact same thing today. This is not the same club he joined those years aback, Tottenham Hotspur are up among the top teams in European football.
“Come back to Tottenham, Gareth. That’s my message to him, absolutely.”

Goodness, no. Bale no longer plays for any love of the Game, he plays solely for the money. When things do not go his way, he quits on his teammates and his coaches. Zidane complains of his lack of work ethic and commitment. His teammates have shared Bale’s comments with them regarding his willingness to collect his paychecks and play golf if Madrid does not wish to pay out his contract in full.

Bale, yea i’m a hugh mark, This is a complex question and even harder question to answer. However, if you break down the question you should come w/ a logical solution. Let’s put the positive and negative questions on the table, right? Now weigh them out, sort of like on a scale. You should come up w/ the heavier one. Yes, when he’s good, he’s great, however, when he’s hurt ” well you get it. He has always been quiet fargile as a youngster and things do not get better as we age. Wiegh it out, a good scale does not lie.
Where would Bale play, besides the physio’s table.
Will Bale be happy to share the striker position to Kane? I doubt it.
What about a rotation with the incredible Son? Or Lucas who will finally get a regular starting role this season, keeping in mind we also have to fit in eriksen (or replacement) somewhere as well. Then Lamela who, although I hate because he is a dirty cheat, and gives away far too much possession, he provides some good stats on goals and assists.
Bale wouldn’t be a regular starter at Spurs. I don’t think he’ll settle for that.
