Tottenham are currently in Shanghai preparing for the final leg of their Asian tour – as they play Premier League counterparts Manchester United at the Hongku Football Stadium in the International Champions Cup on Thursday.

Whilst being put through some strenuous double sessions by manager Mauricio Pochettino, the team have also been meeting some of the thousands of Spurs fans in Singapore and China, signing autographs and posing for photos.

But today, two of their goalscorers against Juventus – Erik Lamela and Harry Kane – and Dele Alli, were given a different kind of task in the Chinese capital on Tuesday morning.

The Spurs trio were tasked with playing a match against 100 children from the local community.

With temperatures rising to almost 100 degrees Fahrenheit, the match barely lasted ten minutes – and they needed a late penalty from Dele Alli to salvage a draw.

Some footage, including Alli being fouled for the spot-kick that he then converted in the video below, followed by some wild celebrations from the England captain, who looked delighted to get away with a draw.
