Do not adjust your set or scratch your eyes, Tottenham winger Georges Kevin Nkoudou really is setting the Audi Cup final alight this evening.

Eyebrows were raised when the French winger was named in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting XI to play Bayern Munich, especially with a host of youngsters on the bench that would surely benefit more, but he is making the most of a rare opportunity to impress for Spurs.

His cameo performance against Real Madrid yesterday evening was nothing to shout about, but given nod by Pochettino once again and Nkoudou is looking much sharper.

And he played a major part in Tottenham taking the lead through Erik Lamela. He picked up the ball on the left, producing an exquisite piece of skill to leave the defender for dead before picking out the Argentine with a beautifully driven cross towards the back-post, where he tapped home.

Remarkably, that’s Nkoudou’s second Tottenham assist in less than 40 minutes of football in the white shirt, having created Harry Winks’ late winner at Fulham back in January.

Take a look at Nkoudou’s moment of magic below.
