Tottenham have lodged a fresh offer for Ryan Sessegnon and are hopeful Fulham will accept the bid before Thursday’s transfer deadline, according to Goal.

Sessegnon has been linked with Spurs for some time now, and the Londoners are expected to complete a deal for the 19-year-old in the coming days – although time is clearly running out.

Goal claims Tottenham’s latest bid is £30 million plus midfielder Josh Onomah, who spent last season on loan in the Championship with Sheffield Wednesday and doesn’t appear to be in Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team plans.

Spurs are said to be hopeful of having the bid accepted, allowing Sessegnon to join the club now rather than risk leaving it until next summer, when he will be available on a free transfer at the end of his Fulham contract.

That would be risky because of the possibility of other clubs swooping. However, there is a chance that could still happen in the coming days.

French outlet La Provence suggests Ligue 1 club Marseille have shown a late interest in Sessegnon, meaning wrapping up a deal could be more difficult than expected for Tottenham. Let’s see what happens.

  1. Tottenham hospur you are very stupid look at this player Fernandes is a good player better than locelso but you failed to sign him

  2. De ja vu Levy messed around with Demble at Fulham and lost him to Celtic now he’s doing it again with Sessegon last year it was Grelish and he’s also doing it with le cos and Fernandes. Proved local spurs followers and invest in the club otherwise players will leave. Oh yes get Erickson out of the club he cost us last year

    • Guess u will never fault the manager for having a leg weary squad after un ran Eriksen into the ground all year. How short sighted we are. He is the only attacking mid in the team and plays too many games and minutes.
