Mauricio Pochettino has held his Premier League press conference ahead of Tottenham’s meeting with Newcastle United this weekend.

The Spurs boss revealed Dele Alli is back in training and has a small chance of playing a part against Newcastle, but he was less optimistic about Giovani Lo Celso who is still some way off full fitness.

Later Pochettino spoke about his team selections, saying Tottenham are not a “charity” when it comes to who he picks to play and who he leaves out.

He also discussed Victor Wanyama’s future – find out more about those quotes here.
