Dele Alli could return to the Tottenham side ahead of their visit to rivals Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

The 23-year-old, who is yet to feature for Spurs this season after suffering his fourth hamstring injury in the space of 12 months during Tottenham’s final pre-season friendly against Inter Milan earlier this month, was pictured at Hotspur Way training with the rest of the squad on Tuesday, just five days before the rivals clash at Emirates Stadium.

Giovani Lo Celso was also training with his new teammates and could make North London derby debut, but record-signing Tanguy Ndombele, who missed the defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday with a hamstring problem, was not in the gallery that Spurs posted on their official Twitter account earlier today, which could leave Mauricio Pochettino with a potential selection headache against the old enemy.

Kyle Walker-Peters limped out of Sunday’s game with a hamstring problem, which could leave the Spurs boss with no recognised right-back. If the 22-year-old isn’t passed fit, Moussa Sissoko could be the only alternative at right-back, meaning Tottenham will be desperate for Ndombele to prove his fitness, especially with Eric Dier short of game time and Victor Wanyama expected to seal a move to Belgian side Club Brugge later this week.
