After a summer of waiting, Tottenham finally announced their new third kit this afternoon – and Spurs fans cannot wait to purchase it.
Their new Nike home and away kits were released in mid-July ahead of the new Premier League campaign and there were leaked photos of the potential third strip from across the pond, although the club were yet to make anything official.
But that was until early this afternoon when Spurs introduced the new strip on their official Twitter account.
The kit, that Spurs wore in their 1984 UEFA Cup Final first leg draw with Belgian side Anderlecht, is all sky blue and will be available to buy on the Tottenham website tomorrow, although prices haven’t been revealed just yet.
One man that is certainly happy with the retro design is Harry Kane. The Tottenham striker, who is currently on international duty with England, said: “Everyone will see the retro influence, it’s a tribute to the jersey culture of the 90s.
“When you see the light blue you think of those players who paved the way, and I hope this year we can wear it with pride to go all the way.”
