Davinson Sanchez pulled no punches when he came up against Neymar during the international break.
Colombia and Brazil played out a 2-2 friendly draw on Friday night, but Sanchez’s approach to the game was anything but friendly.
Midway through the second half, the Tottenham defender floored Neymar, sending the Paris Saint-Germain star flying into the advertising hoardings.
There were plenty of protests from Neymar’s teammates, but the challenge was indicative of Sanchez’s core strength.
Despite a mixed start to the new season for Spurs, Sanchez remains a very promising young centre-back. Watch his challenge on Neymar below.
