Tottenham Hotspur face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday, and Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

Juan Foyth (ankle) and Davinson Sanchez (ankle) have both been ruled out, while Kyle Walker-Peters (hamstring) was being assessed on Thursday, making his inclusion unlikely. As a result, Serge Aurier might make his first appearance of the season at right-back.

Sanchez’s injury means Jan Vertonghen will almost certainly partner Toby Alderweireld at centre-back again, while this might be a good opportunity to give Ben Davies his first start of the campaign going into a busy few weeks.

In midfield, Tanguy Ndombele (thigh) and Eric Dier (hip) have returned to training, but like Walker-Peters they were still be assessed on Thursday, so Saturday may come too soon. We think a midfield three of Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko and Christian Eriksen is the most likely scenario. Giovani Lo Celso is out until the end of October with a hip injury.

Dele Alli should also make his first start of the season, providing support for Son Heung-min and Harry Kane up front. Here’s our predicted XI to face Palace – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.
