Manchester United are interested in signing Tottenham midfield pair Lucas Moura and Eric Dier, according to the Daily Star.

Moura, who became an important player for Mauricio Pochettino’s side last term, scoring 15 goals in 49 appearances during his debut campaign in North London making a significant impact in the Champions League, has struggled for minutes this season, starting just two Premier League games and none of the previous two.

However, the Brazilian international extended his Spurs contract in August and now has five years left on his remaining deal.

As for Dier, he has been suffering with a number different hip injuries throughout 2019 and hasn’t played a single minute in any competition this season. The Red Devils were keen on buying the England midfielder back in 2017 when Jose Mourinho was in charge before turning their attentions to and eventually signing Nemanja Matic instead.

But now, the Daily Star are reporting that United, who are short on both attacking and defensive midfielders, especially after the departure of Ander Herrera, are keen on making a January move for the pair.
