Troy Parrott’s has not been included in Tottenham’s squad for their huge Champions League group stage game against Bayern Munich tonight.

The 17-year-old, who made his senior Spurs debut in their shock Carabao Cup 3rd Round defeat at League Two Colchester United last Tuesday, is currently in action for Tottenham’s Under-19s in their UEFA Youth League match against the German giants’ youngsters at Hotspur Way this afternoon and therefore, won’t feature at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium later on today.

But it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, given Parrott was left out of the squad for their 2-2 draw in Athens a fortnight ago, despite training with the first-team before playing and scoring for the Under-19s the following day, who also drew with Olympiacos – with the Republic or Ireland striker opening the scoring for Tottenham that day.

Parrott is yet to find the net today and continue his fine goalscoring record for Spurs’ junior sides this season, but did claim an assist for Rodel Richards, who reduced the deficit after Ryan Mason’s men found themselves 2-0 down thanks to two early goals from the German’s in Enfield.
