Barcelona are interested in signing Tottenham striker Harry Kane in the January transfer window, according to reports in Spain.

Kane was on the scoresheet for England on Friday night, finding the net from the penalty spot before the Czech Republic pulled off an unexpected comeback to take all three points in the Euro 2020 qualifier.

The Three Lions captain missed a couple of chances, in fitting with his slightly below par displays so far this season. Though regardless of his performance level, Kane still seems to find the net more often than not; he has scored 12 goals in 13 games for club and country this term.

And that’s why he continues to be linked with the likes of Barcelona. Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claims the La Liga champions are on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Luis Saurez.

Kylian Mbappe is apparently their priority target, but Kane is also near the top of their January wishlist, as are Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford and Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez.

There is no chance Spurs will let Kane leave in January, but they may face a bit of a struggle to hold onto their talisman next summer if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
