Dele Alli scored Tottenham’s equaliser against Watford with four minutes remaining on Saturday despite VAR making the situation as confusing as possible.
Ben Foster’s failed clearance was capitalised on by Alli, who controlled before converting the ball into the net. It looked as if the ball struck his arm, but VAR decided it came off his shoulder.
However, the scoreboard said no goal even though the referee appeared to signal a goal, which caused the players and the crowd to once again question the decision. The referee pointed to his ear and finally confirmed the goal. Watch it below.
