Tottenham fans have been calling for Troy Parrott to feature for the first-team after the teenager produced a magnificent four-goal performance for Spurs U19s in their 9-2 victory over Red Star Belgrade in the UEFA Youth League this afternoon.
Parrott, who has now reached double figures for club and country this season, made his debut for the senior side in their Carabao Cup humiliation at Colchester United last month, but has not been included in a matchday squad by Mauricio Pochettino since.
However, the 17-year-old was in fine form for Ryan Mason’s men at Hotspur Way, notching four of Spurs’ nine goals as the U19s recorded their first Group B victory of the campaign.
The teenager isn’t in the squad for Tottenham’s game against the Serbian’s in north London later today, but he’ll be hoping this lead will lead to further first-team appearances.
Take a look at his four goals in the video below followed by some of the best responses for Spurs fans.
