Mauricio Pochettino has held his Premier League press conference ahead of this weekend’s trip to Everton.

Tottenham are without a win in their last three league games, so some will see Sunday’s match as a must-win.

Pochettino spoke about the criticism Dele Alli has been receiving of late, defending the midfielder and insisting he will be back to his best soon – read more about those quotes here.

The Spurs boss also revealed he is “not happy” with Giovani Lo Celso’s call-up to the Argentina national team given he has just returned from injury and has barely played this season.

  1. So why doesn’t Poch play Le Celso for at least a half at Everton and should he get a slight knock he can stay behind in London. Should he not do this and Le Celso plays a blinder for his country, then Poch’s judgement will be called into question yet again.

  2. I totally agree with the comments of Scooterboy.
This kind of decision is logical but Pochettino has none of these thoughts.
His tactics and late substitutions tell all Spurs fans that he really is not good enough to be a Spurs manager anymore. Please Mr Levy just sack before our season is over by Xmas.

  3. Poch drives me crazy sending in his extras 5 mins before the end of the game Playing Ericson is a mistake Deli is still recovering from injuries and im sure his form will improve more and more .The last beef I have is Lucas should be in from the start what has got to show to get on the field over Ericson lamella and aurier or deli alli give lucas a well deserved start hes earned it and with son and kane could be a very offensive trio against everton

  4. Poch needs to move on now , his purchases have been awful Aurier is beyond awful and Sanchez only marginally better. Dier can’t get a game in any competition. What has happened to him? Subbing players with 5 mins to go is absurd. We can’t defend a lead . It’s a shambles
