Despite a thrilling attacking display from Tottenham on Saturday, the Londoners were far from convincing at the back in their 3-2 Premier League victory over Bournemouth.
Dele Alli’s brace and a memorable Moussa Sissoko volley gave Spurs a 3-0 lead, but two late Harry Wilson strikes meant Jose Mourinho’s men were suddenly hanging onto their advantage yet again.
It would have been far worse if not for Jan Vertonghen, whose crucial last-ditch tackle prevented Callum Wilson from equalising at the death.
