Manchester Evening News have leaked the possible Manchester United starting XI for their Premier League clash against Tottenham at Old Trafford tonight.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed in yesterday’s pre-match press conference that World Cup winner Paul Pogba, who hasn’t featured since the 1-1 draw with Arsenal in late-September, would miss a reunion with Jose Mourinho due to an ankle injury.

The Norwegian also revealed that midfielder’s Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay were both rated as “touch and go” – with the Scottish international named in the leaked starting line-up, although there is no place for the former Chelsea man.

Elsewhere, Sky Sports reported late last night that Anthony Martial, who scored the winner against Spurs in December 2017, was set to miss the game with a muscular problem and therefore hasn’t been named in the MEN’s line-up.

You can see the full XI below and it looks like Solskjaer has opted for a back-three.

De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Maguire, Lindelof, Young, Fred, McTominay, Lingard, Rashford, James.

  1. Outside McTominay (guile) Pogba (technique) and Mata (experience) United s midfield is weak compared to other teams in the league. De Gea is not a great GK and Solskjaer has no experience managing. Final score 1-0 spurs. Lingard is bang average player. Rashford can’t lead the line and most the team ultimately lacks guidance from the dugout and on the pitch. Glazers are first to blame tbh. I can see Pottechino being the next failed attempt if they do decide to hire him. Mourinho in the time Pottechino has been at Tottenham has won several major titles including the premier league and Europa league. Pottechino has won nothing. Unbelievably united fans think he is the answer. Pottechino has just been replaced by Mourinho who they’ve just sacked says everything really. Frustrating club to watch and at this point people are getting used to their ineptitude. Solskjaer not even bothered about where they finish this season and unbelievably they are worse off if they lose this evening than last season when they sacked Mourinho. Beggars belief

  2. Comment:according to me I wish that ole gunar be given an additional chance if he lose today because if too much pressure is applied on him he will rest his pressure on the players which will keep players restless and panic in the pitch resulting to poor performance, he is still agood coach it is just a problem of inexperienced team he has may be he is missing Paul pogba and his tactics

  3. Comment: I think we must give Ole this coming transfer season (January) to see hw he can fix the team. if we look at Man U team, we need to revamp it by signing new and not only new bt good players. Then if the team remains the same we can say a farewell to him.

  4. You talks without reasoning every time sacking, even the one who have been sacked for poor performance you still want him to come and replace is doesn’t make any …..
Give time to him because even the one you wanted him to come in and replaced him will still failed with this squad of man united.
