Tottenham host Burnley in the Premier League this weekend aiming to bounce back from a first defeat under Jose Mourinho.

The Londoners fell to a 2-1 defeat at Manchester United in midweek, so Mourinho has a number of decisions to make regarding his team section.

Wednesday night’s midfield pairing of Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko was one of the major issues at Old Trafford. With that in mind, there is a good chance we still see a couple of changes to the line-up.

We think Moussa Sissoko will keep his place but move towards the right wing, where he played well against Bournemouth. Harry Winks will drop to the bench, with Eric Dier and Tanguy Ndombele coming in to form a partnership in central midfield.

Other than that, it’s likely Mourinho will stick with the same players. Jan Vertonghen will continue at left-back, with Serge Aurier on the right. Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld will continue at centre-back in front of Paulo Gazzaniga.

Dele Alli, Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane will provide the goal threat. Here’s our predicted XI to face Burnley – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.

  1. Eric Dier would be inappropriate to replace Harry Winks because he is too slow in general including tackle and run
Let Foyth replace Auiger at right back to see if back four is working

    • Do consider winning the ball back. Dier is better in air and has more ranve and firce than Winks. Winks is tapping it around. Dier needa to go back tocmaking the safe passes. He is trying too hard to make that incisive pass to which is not his game. One has know their limitation and needs another off season to work on it. Playing out from the back and the possession football mask that deficiency in his game while converting to a mid. Playing with Tanguy he can always go short. I wanr Dier in that midfield inspite of his lack of forward passing.
