When Heung-Min Son sprinted from his own half to score a stunning individual goal against Chelsea last season, Tottenham posted a video of the strike on Twitter in which the South Korean had been turned into Sonic the Hedgehog.
And the Spurs social media team were at it again on Monday, transforming Son into the famous video game character to celebrate his incredible goal against Burnley.
Son’s goal of the season contender had the entire stadium on its feet. The sheer speed and control he displayed before finishing cooly was outstanding.
