Jose Mourinho will be without a host senior players as his Tottenham side look to conclude their Champions League group stage campaign on a high against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
The Spurs Head Coach is without Hugo Lloris, Michel Vorm, Ben Davies, Serge Aurier, Jan Vertonghen, Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele, Erik Lamela, Dele Alli, Harry Kane, so will have to make a number of changes from Saturday’s 5-0 win over Burnley.
One of the few players that will keep their place from that victory is Paulo Gazzaniga, whilst Juan Foyth and Danny Rose, who have hardly featured of late, will start in the full-back positions.
Mourinho has included Japhet Tanganga in his travelling party, but will surely opt for the experience of Toby Alderweireld alongside Davinson Sanchez at the heart of the Spurs defence.
In midfield, we think Eric Dier will partner Oliver Skipp – who will make his full Champions League debut – whilst there could be a return for Christian Eriksen.
Giovani Lo Celso is likely be handed a first start under Mourinho, alongside Ryan Sessegnon – who would be making his full Tottenham debut if he gets the nod – and possibly Troy Parrott leading an inexperienced-looking attacking line. Although Heung Min Son has travelled to Germany and is an alternative to lead the line for Spurs if Parrott isn’t given the opportunity.
