Jose Mourinho has rung the changes for Tottenham’s final Champions League group stage match against Bayern Munich this evening.
The Spurs Head Coach is without ten first-team players who’ve been left back in London and has made five changes to the side that comfortably dispatched Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last weekend.
Paulo Gazzaniga and Toby Alderweireld keep their places, but Juan Foyth, Kyle Walker-Peters and Danny Rose come into the side – whilst Eric Dier – who captains the side – and Moussa Sissoko both start in midfield once again, meaning Oliver Skipp will have to make his mark from the bench, if needed.
There are first starts under Mourinho for Giovani Lo Celso, Christian Eriksen and Ryan Sessegnon – who makes his full Tottenham and Champions League debut – whilst Lucas Moura is given another opportunity to showcase his talent and leads the line.
Under-23s Troy Parrott and Japhet Tanganga are both among the substitutes, as is Heung Min Son, who has five goals in the competition this season.
Starting XI: Gazzaniga, Walker-Peters, Foyth, Alderweireld, Rose, Dier, Sissoko, Lo Celso, Eriksen, Sessegnon, Lucas.
Subs: Austin, Sanchez, Tanganga, Skipp, Wanyama, Son, Parrott
Ideal opportunity to start Parrott,Skipp and Tanganga.
Don’t be surprised if they leave and we have a Jadon Sancho situation.
They need too earn there first team place .
Eric Dier should never start a match
I rather Skipp play because he is gull of enthusiasm and run everywhere compare with Eric Dier
Eric runs too slow all the times 0
