Tottenham rounded off their Champions League group stage campaign with a 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
Kingsley Coman opened the scoring for the German’s before Ryan Sessegnon’s first Spurs goal restored parity for Jose Mourinho’s men.
However, goals from Thomas Muller and former Liverpool midfielder Phillipe Coutinho ensured Munich maintained their 100 percent record in Group B.
Here’s how every Spurs player rated on the day.
Paulo Gazzaniga, 7 – Helpless with all three goals, but made a stunning first-half stop to deny a long-range Philippe Coutinho effort.
Kyle Walker-Peters, 5 – Caught out of position for the opening goal and never recovered – his performance was summed up by an awful late cross.
Juan Foyth, 6 – Typically composed on the ball.
Toby Alderweireld, 6 – Spurs’ best defender on the night.
Danny Rose, 4 – Should have done more for Munich’s second goal and was relitavely poor all evening, as he has been for the majority of the season.
Moussa Sissoko, 5 – Fluffed a glaring first-half chance and should have got closer to Coutinho for his goal.
Eric Dier, 5 – Captained the side and made some key tackles, but remains to look sloppy on the ball, although another 90 minutes wouldn’t have done him any harm.
Giovani Lo Celso, 5 – Looked like he hadn’t started a game for a number of weeks, although he did play a part in Sessegnon’s goal.
Christian Eriksen, 4 – Lazy, sloppy and like the majority of his performances this season, hardly looked interested.
Ryan Sessegnon, 8 – Comfortably Tottenham’s best player on the night. Marked his full debut for the club by scoring a fine equaliser and was a constant threat down the left.
Lucas Moura, 5 – Chased shadows throughout a difficult evening before he was subbed.
Substitutes:
Heung Min Son, 5 – Had a great chance when played in one-on-one by Eriksen, but failed to get his shot off.
Oliver Skipp, 6 – Neat and tidy in possession and was impressive in getting out of a tight space which eventually led to Son’s chance.
Victor Wanyama, N/A – Introduced for the final 10 minutes.

When ever Spurs showed a bit of creativity, it came from Eriksen.

At 3.19 Eriksen plays a 100 %key ball to Ryan Sessegnon but he was not quick enough and chances wasted.
At 32.28 Eriksen plays Moussa Sissoko totaly free a 200% chance but same result.
At 71.06 Eriksen plays a 100% chance to Heung Min Son but the player wasted the great possibility to put the ball into the net.
At 91.30 Eriksen delivers a 200% ball to Heung Min Son totaly free but shame on him no goal.
Eriksen produced 2 100% chances and 2 200% chances.
If they scored on these chances he created, which they would have done with more qualificed players ,
Eriksen would have had 4 assist and the result would have been 5 -3 to Tottenham.
