Tottenham face a tricky trip to Wolves in the Premier League this weekend, and Jose Mourinho has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.

The Spurs boss rested a number of key players for Wednesday’s Champions League dead rubber clash with Bayern Munich, with Dele Alli and Harry Kane staying at home and Heung-Min Son coming off the bench.

Those three are likely to return here, with Lucas Moura keeping his place in attack. However, the 27-year-old will shift from the middle – where he struggled in midweek – to the right.

In fact, we will probably see the exact same line-up that started against Burnley last weekend, meaning Eric Dier and Moussa Sissoko will start in central midfield again. Tanguy Ndombele is still injured and Harry Winks isn’t quite ready to start despite recovering from an ankle problem.

Paulo Gazzaniga will almost certainly be protected by a back four of Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen. Ryan Sessegnon could be used from the bench after impressing in Munich.

  1. Sometimes i try to make sense of these headline and the dumbness of some journalists/bloggers/writers. Moura is a winger and played inside of out convenience with a skinny team. How does that constitute a position shifts for this weekend is beyond me. I read one article where one writer said, Ryan played well on Wedneaday operating from the left back position. What? With Danny Rose on the pitch, my silly eyes must be playing tricks on me.
