Tanguy Ndombele was arguably Tottenham’s best performer against Norwich on Saturday.

Christian Eriksen, who scored Spurs’ first goal with a sensational free-kick, was named man of the match, but Jose Mourinho later admitted the award could have gone to a number of players.

The Tottenham boss name-checked Ndombele, labelling the Frenchman’s performance “absolutely phenomenal” despite a frustrating result at Carrow Road.

Ndombele was certainly impressive, growing into the game and giving Spurs a sense of control in midfield.

His best moment came with just a few minutes to go when he almost set up a Harry Kane chance with an incredible rabona cross. Watch below.

Can we just appreciate Tanguy for a moment? from r/coys

  1. Play Vertonghen and Alderweireld in their correct positions – left centre back and right centre back.

Try Dier again at right back.

That would massively improve the defence.

It is possible that Mourinho hasn’t forgiven Vertonghen from the past, when he falsely claimed that the defender cheated in a game against him. This could be Mourinho’s way to get him back for that. Vertonghen is a rolls royce of a centre back and it is sad to see him being played out of position.

  2. Please try to play Foyth at right back in place of Augier
Aughier gave total away 9 times versus Norwich and Brighton
Foyth did play well at right back last season
