Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly eyeing up a January move for Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker-Peters on a permanent basis, according The Sun.

The 22-year-old, who is a product of the Spurs academy, threatened to make the right-back spot his own at the beginning of the campaign – starting each of Tottenham’s opening three Premier League matches, including the 2-2 draw with Manchester City in August.

But a hamstring injury in the following game against Newcastle United halted his progress and his only two appearances since have come in the 3rd Round Carabao Cup defeat to Colchester United and then the Champions League game against Bayern Munich earlier this month – his only minutes under the new regime.

Serge Aurier has emerged as Jose Mourinho’s first-choice right-back and therefore, Walker-Peters is in desperate need of minutes.

And now, The Sun are reporting that the Seagulls are among the frontrunners for the signature of the England Under-21 defender in the January window.

  1. I would get rid of Aurier and Sanchez neither of them are suited to the premiership, sell them soon as and yets start rebuild the mighty spurs to the team they were a couple of season’s ago.
