Jose Mourinho has made two changes to his Tottenham side for their New Year’s Day trip to Southampton in the Premier League.
The Spurs boss remains without Heung Min Son, who serves the final match of his suspension, but Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks return to the squad – with the former earning himself a recall to the starting XI, partnering his French counterpart Tanguy Ndombele in midfield.
The other change sees Lucas Moura come back into the side in place of Giovani Lo Celso, who drops to the bench, whilst Ryan Sessegnon starts at left-back, despite Mourinho – who has switched to a back-four – recently stating that the teenager won’t feature in that position this season.
Elsewhere, Eric Dier misses out with a virus, but Winks joins Davinson Sanchez on the bench.
Starting XI: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Sessegnon, Sissoko, Ndombele, Lucas, Alli, Eriksen, Kane.
Subs: Vorm, Tanganga, Sanchez, Skipp, Winks, Lamela, Lo Celso.
in this form Spurs are looking in serious danger of relegation, Mourinho has not got a clue, why do you think Man U got rid of him, he’s useless and only at Tottenham for the money, I hope Levy soon realises another mistake and rectifies it before the end of the season, GET THE TOSSER OUT!!!
