Tottenham face Middlesbrough in an FA Cup third round replay on Tuesday night, and Jose Mourinho has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection.
Paulo Gazzaniga will probably stay between the sticks, but there will be a much-changed back four in front of him. Japhet Tanganga could be rewarded with another start after an impressive Premier League debut against Liverpool.
Jan Vetonghen should partner Tanganga in the middle, with Juan Foyth coming in at right-back to give Serge Aurier a deserved rest. Ryan Sessegnon is likely to replace Danny Rose at left-back.
With Eric Dier in the holding role, Mourinho could play with two attacking central midfielders. Giovani Lo Celso will surely start, and Spurs might as well play Eriksen as much as possible before he leaves. That will also give a tired-looking Dele Alli the chance to sit one out.
Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura will provide the width while also rotating with Son Heung-min through the middle. Here’s our predicted XI to face Middlesbrough – what’s yours? Let us know in the comments section below.
