Tottenham secured their first January signing on Wednesday morning after Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes joined on an 18-month loan deal from the Primeira Liga leaders.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who has been capped twice for Portugal, joined his new Spurs teammates at Hotspur Way and trained for the very first time ahead of the meeting with Watford on Saturday where Fernandes will be hoping to make his Premier League debut.
