Tottenham’s draw with Southampton was low on moments of real quality and the sides now face a replay after drawing 1-1 in the FA Cup fourth round at St Mary’s.
Son Heung-min and Sofiane Boufal exchanged well-taken goals, but both sides were wasteful in the final third with Lucas Moura and Danny Ings missing good chances.
Ings very nearly scored what would have been an impressive opener but was denied by a moment of brilliance by Japhet Tanganga, who we praised in our player ratings.
The young centre-back, who was filling in at left-back, cleared off the line when it looked certain Ings would score. Watch below.
