Tottenham remain in talks with PSV Eindhoven and AC Milan over deals for Steven Bergwijn and Krzysztof Piatek respectively, according to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Piatek has been mentioned as a possible target ever since Harry Kane ruptured a tendon in his left hamstring at the beginning of the month. Talk of a move for the Polish striker had gone quiet but it now appears to have re-emerged.

Romano, who is one of the media’s most trusted voices when it comes to transfers, claims Spurs are ‘still in talks’ with Milan over Piatek, though it’s unclear if the clubs are close to agreeing a fee.

A deal for Bergwijn seems to be a bit further down the line. The winger posted a video from London in which he denied refusing to play for PSV over the weekend – he was left out of the squad to play to FC Twente on Sunday.

Reports – including a story from the Athletic – have claimed Tottenham are closing in on Bergwijn’s signature, and Romano believes the Londoners are in talks with PSV ‘right now’. It looks like it could be a busy week in north London.

  1. Go ahead to sign both of them but I would love to see Gareth Bale and James Rodigeiue to sign but still big question Will Spurs do ?????as Spurs always talk but not active

    • Or you just believe every story that says Levy knobs about. The same media that says we’re signing 50 odd different players every window. Feel free to pick and choose what suits your personal narrative best.
