Harry Kane admitted it’s “been a pleasure” to play with Christian Eriksen over the past five-years – and has wished the Denmark international good luck at his new club Inter Milan.

The 27-year-old had his long-awaited move to the San Siro confirmed yesterday, moments after Spurs announced the permanent signing of Giovani Lo Celso.

Surprisingly, Eriksen didn’t show any acknowledgement to Tottenham of their supporters after securing his move to the Italian capital. He simply tweeted: “So happy and excited to start this new adventure with you all!”

But that didn’t stop a number of his former players from sending the Dane a farewell message on social media. Yesterday, Harry Winks, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen all reached out on both Twitter and Instagram to show their support for Eriksen.

And today, Kane, who has enjoyed a wonderful partnership with the midfielder since breaking into the Spurs first-team back in November 2014, was the latest to send his regards to the ex-Tottenham man.

19 of Kane’s 136 Premier League goals were assisted by Eriksen – with the last of those coming in the 2-1 victory over Southampton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September.
