Harry Kane might currently be in the Caribbean recovering from his recent hamstring surgery – but the Tottenham striker is continuing to keep a close eye on how his teammates are getting on.

The England captain hasn’t played for Spurs since limping out of the New Year’s Day defeat at Southampton and isn’t expected to return to action until the final few weeks of the season.

Jose Mourinho’s men were initially struggling in Kane’s absence, but their FA Cup victory over Southampton on Wednesday was their sixth match without defeat in all competitions – four of which have been wins, all coming at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It was far from vintage Tottenham, but late goals from Lucas Moura and Heung Min Son sent Spurs through to a 5th Round date with Norwich City.

For the majority, it was just another night of being a Spurs fan. But for Kane, who isn’t used to watching from afar, it was a stressful evening. He took to social media to express his feeling after the victory.

Have a look at his tweet below.

  1. Any fan of any football club will tell you exactly the same thing and Kane’s no different. Stress is not the sole ownership of THFC fans. Chelsea fans had to put up with decades of shit as did Man City fans prior to their benevolent benefactors ploughing untold millions turning them into serial winners.
