Danny Rose was a guest on BBC 5live on Friday and gave a typically honest interview.
The defender spoke about his exit from Tottenham, struggling for minutes under Jose Mourinho and why he decided to join Newcastle United on loan for the rest of the season.
He was also asked about the strong Spurs side he played in at White Hart Lane under Mauricio Pochettino and admitted he was “disheartened” to see Mousa Dembele – one of the best players in that team – leave the club.
