Jose Mourinho has made two changes to his Tottenham side that beat Aston Villa on Sunday for their Champions League last 16 tie against German outfit RB Leipzig.

One of those changes is enforced and sees Giovani Lo Celso return to the starting line-up for the first time since the 2-0 victory over Manchester City earlier this month in place of Heung Min Son, who is expected to miss a number of weeks with a fractured arm.

Elsewhere, Gedson Fernandes is handed his full Spurs debut in place of Eric Dier, who joins Tanguy Ndombele and the returning Erik Lamela on the Tottenham bench.

Fernandes will partner Harry Winks in midfield, whilst Lo Celso is expected to push further forward than he’s been playing recently to join Dele Alli, Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn in an unfamiliar-looking front four.

Ryan Sessegnon is once more absent from matchday squad, whilst Troy Parrott isn’t named amongst the substitutes either.

Starting XI: Lloris, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies, Winks, Gedson, Lo Celso, Lucas, Alli, Bergwijn.

Substitutes: Gazzaniga, Tanganga, Vertonghen, Dier, Skipp, Ndombele, Lamela.

  1. Ali Dele is no longer good player and jose is right to take him off
He should not have selected to play against Chelsea because past 3 games he was playing poor and should not continue playing
