Tottenham have been handed some mixed injury news for their FA Cup tie against Norwich City on Wednesday.

Moussa Sissoko, Heung Min Son and Harry Kane all remain injured, but Ryan Sessegnon, who missed the Premier League games against both Chelsea and Wolves recently, has returned to training after a hip problem and will be hoping to be named in the matchday squad to face the Canaries having not featured since the fourth-round replay victory over Southampton last month.

“Yes,” was Jose Mourinho’s response when asked whether Erik Lamela will be available for the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

But it wasn’t all good news for the Spurs boss, who won’t be able to call upon his captain and first-choice goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, whose been ruled out of the game with a groin problem.

Mourinho didn’t confirm whether the Frenchman mean will miss Saturday’s Premier League trip to Burnley. He said: “Yesterday I was not sure that he couldn’t play tomorrow. He can’t. I’m going to wait for good news for Saturday, I hope he can. It’s not the kind of injury where we know he’s not ready to play for three, four or five weeks.”
