Does anyone miss Gareth Bale?
The Welsh wizard, who remains highly popular in North London, will forever be remembered for a number of memorable moments in a Tottenham shirt – with the majority of those coming in a scintillating campaign in 2012-2013 when he almost single-handedly got AVB’s Spurs side back into the Champions League.
One of Bale’s best performances in that season came on this day seven years ago.
Samir Nasri had put City in front early on, before Bale took centre stage, firstly, assisting Clint Dempsey, and then scoring an exquisite chip, either side of Jermain Defoe’s thunderous strike past Joe Hart.
