Sampdoria are interested in signing Juan Foyth this summer, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.

Foyth has made just three appearances under Jose Mourinho this season – and hasn’t featured since making a costly error in the 2-2 draw with Norwich City in late-December, in which he was withdraw at half-time.

It appears that the Argentine’s time in north London is coming to an end, and we relayed two stories last week regarding his future. The first was from Mundo Deportivo, and it suggested that Foyth has been offered to Barcelona – with the Spanish giants interested in him.

The second was from Foyth’s agent Claudio Curti, who hinted that he will leave Spurs this summer, stating that he needs to be playing more regularly, to enhance his chances of playing for Argentina.

And now, according to this report, Sampdoria who currently sit just one point above the relegation zone in Serie A, have joined the race after narrowly missing out on signing Foyth in January.

Foyth has shown plenty of potential since moving to the Premier League in 2017, but Mourinho’s actions suggest that he clearly isn’t in his plans, meaning a move away from Spurs looks increasingly likely.
