On this day in 2017, Harry Kane matched a Premier League record by becoming just the fifth player in the competitions history to score hat-tricks in consecutive matches.

Just three days after netting four goals in a 6-1 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, Kane continued his scintillating end-of-season form by adding three more to his impressive tally in another away day massacre, this time against Hull City (7-1).

Such was Kane’s form at this time, he would go on to achieve that feat again just seven months later in his final two matches of an unforgettable 2017 against Burnley and Southampton.

The England captain also picked up his second Premier League Golden Boot at the KCOM.
