Jose Mourinho has made just one change to his Tottenham side for their clash against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane tonight.
Japhet Tanganga and Juan Foyth remain sidelined for Spurs, but Steven Bergwijn returns to the starting XI in place of Dele Alli after he was rested for the West Ham last Tuesday.
The back-five remains the same from the Hammers game, with Giovani Lo Celso partnering Moussa Sissoko – who starts for a third match on the bounce – in the heart of midfield.
Moving forward, it appears that Mourinho has opted for a 4-4-2 formation – with Bergwijn and Heung Min Son occupying the wide roles and Lucas Moura and Harry Kane starting upfront.
Tanguy Ndombele is once again on the bench, but another one of Tottenham’s summer signings, Ryan Sessegnon, misses out entirely.
Here’s the starting XI to face the Sheffield United:
Lloris, Aurier, Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Sissoko, Lo Celso, Bergwijn, Lucas, Son, Kane.
Substitutes:
Gazzaniga, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Winks, Skipp, Gedson, Ndombele, Lamela, Alli.
Strongly asvises Jose NOT to select Ben Davies anymore I count his passes he passed the ball back to defencers 80% and only 10% passes to forward including 3 mistakes 10% to central midfielder He defenitly does not know how to play attacking
All other clubs in premier all left back plays well trying to forward
Please count his passing I’m next match
