Harry Kane netted twice in the same game for the first time since December and in the process notched his 200th club career goal in Tottenham’s 3-1 victory over Newcastle United.
It’s been a frustrating few months for the England captain, but his brace at St James’ Park means that he’s now scored 20 goals in a season for a sixth campaign in succession.
Kane’s first was a wonderful header from Steve Bergwijn’s pin-point delivery before the Spurs striker found himself in the right place to nod home after Erik Lamela’s shot had been saved in the 90th minute to ensure the points.
