Jan Vertonghen has given a final interview to Spurs TV after confirming his exit from Tottenham.
The Belgian, who has spent the last 12 years of his career in north London, revealed he is set to leave the club via Twitter on Monday morning.
In the video below Vertonghen is asked about his favourite Spurs memory. And surprisingly, he picks the ‘Battle of the Bridge’ – the 2-2 draw at Chelsea that saw Tottenham miss out on the title to Leicester City in 2015/16.
No Spurs fan would pick that game as a positive memory, but Vertonghen remembers it as a classic Premier League fixture.
