Jack Clarke hasn’t had the best of luck since signing for Tottenham.

Spurs bought the teenager last summer after a series of impressive performances in the Championship for Leeds United, who he immediately re-joined on loan.

However, Clarke was recalled from his loan in January because of a surprising lack of game time. The 19-year-old was then sent to QPR for the rest of the season, but things didn’t go much better there.

By the end of the campaign Clarke hadn’t started a single Championship game, leading to doubts over his ability to play for Tottenham in the future.

But as things stand, Clarke will return to training with Spurs’ first-team squad when pre-season starts and could be handed his Premier League debut by Jose Mourinho in just a matter of weeks.

It certainly looks like the winger wants to make that happen. In a Twitter video on Sunday posted by Evolution Sports Academy, Clarke can be seen training back home in Yorkshire.

He responded to the video with the caption: “Working”.

Some Spurs fans reacted with messages of encouragement for Clarke. Check them out below.
