Jose Mourinho wants to sell up to six first-team players at Tottenham to help fund a summer of spending, according to the Daily Star.

The Spurs boss is already close to completing a deal for Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and wants to spend up to £70m by cashing in on the likes of Kyle Walker-Peters, who could begin a defensive revamp, along with Serge Aurier, Danny Rose and Juan Foyth.

Aurier has held talks with AC Milan in recent weeks, whilst Foyth hasn’t featured since December, with newly-promoted Leeds United interested. Both are expected to be sold this summer.

Elsewhere, Rose, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle, recently admitted that he’d love to play for Tottenham again, although his January fallout with Mourinho makes that proposition highly unlikely.

The Daily Star also believes that Moussa Sissoko is another that could be cashed in on, although having recovered from a tough start to his Spurs career to become a regular, has made more than 120 appearances in the previous three seasons, and isn’t one you’d imagine Mourinho would want to sell, despite the imminent signing of Hojbjerg.

Lastly, Cameron Carter-Vickers’ spell in north London could come to an end this summer – with a number of Championship clubs interested in his signature.

  1. They had better get a bloody move on then, as we not only need to sell but buy too, and you know how long it takes tight arse Levy to strike a deal.

  2. Lets get rid of mourininho as well he fucked Chelsea then Manchester United now we are stuck with him he couldn’t play football himself

  3. Ben Davies must go because he could not play properly as left back
He is well known as pass back 75% on every match

  4. Winks will never be good enough for a team that aspires to win things. Lamela has had his 9 lives. I thought Ndombele would come good, but if his attitude is crap, then bye. Mourinho is determined to keep his record at every club & to prove he still has it, i would give him time.
