Tottenham kicked-off their pre-season programme with a comfortable 3-0 victory over League One side Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon.
Ryan Sessegnon broke the deadlock inside the opening 10 minutes, before Heung Min Son struck twice before the half-hour mark to complete the scoring for Jose Mourinho’s men.
Despite the comfortable scoreline, Spurs were without a host of their senior stars, meaning a number of youngsters were given a rare opportunity to impress the Spurs boss.
16-year-old’s Dane Scarlett and Alfie Devine made their first appearances for Tottenham , but it was 18-year-old Harvey White who perhaps made the biggest impression on the Portuguese.
Replacing summer signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg with 25 minutes remaining, the teenager looked at home in the centre of midfield, displaying an impressive range of passing for someone of his age.

Wow. A professional footballer can pass the ball back, sideways or to a player in space. I would expect every Academy play in every club to be able to do this in a friendly. Having said that he does have some talent, I’m just worried that his lack of pace will hold him back.
He doesn’t need too much pace playing in the Winks roll, from what I saw of him, he has better vision, a better pass and a better touch than Winks. I’d play him alongside Hojbjerg all day long. Love to see them play together.
Harvey White was the best young player I saw on Saturday, a fantastic display. He’d be playing in the first team for me with performances like that. I don’t think I saw him give the ball away, always looking for the forward pass and moving into space looking for the ball, I don’t think he stood still for a second. As far as I’m concerned he’s an upgrade on Winks.
