Tottenham’s Carabao Cup third round draw against either Plymouth or Leyton Orient leaves Jose Mourinho’s side facing the prospect of playing four away matches in three different countries in the space of eight days later this month.

Spurs get their 2020-2021 campaign underway against Everton in the Premier League on Sunday before the north Londoners travel to Bulgarian outfit Lokomotiv Plovdiv for their Europa League 2nd qualifier just four days later.

It’s back to league action on Sunday 20 September when they face Southampton at St Mary’s before their attention turns to the domestic cup with a midweek trip to lower league opposition in either Orient or Plymouth, who meet in round two.

If Mourinho’s men are successful in Bulgaria, they’ll travel to either Macedonia or Romania for their Europa League 3rd qualifying tie which kicks off less than 48 hours after the conclusion of their Carabao Cup 3rd round tie.

You can see that crazy schedule below.

Thursday September 17th – Lokomotiv Plovdiv
Sunday September 20th – Southampton
Tuesday September 22nd – Leyton Orient/Plymouth Argyle
Thursday September 24th – FC Botosani/KF Shkendija
